Reviewer: Amy Ticoll Addition of GST–RAP46 (Bag1) to an EMSA with extracts from cells transfected with the GR inhibits DNA binding by the receptor. BAG-1 is shown to interact with RAR in an in vitro GST pull-down assay and in a yeast two-hybrid assay. In transient transfection assays (CV-1 cells), co-transfection of BAG-1 expression plasmid inhibits the transactivation activity of RAR/RXR heterodimers. |
