Reviewer: Amy Ticoll The ARID (A-T Rich Interaction Domain) is a helix-turn-helix motif-based DNA-binding domain. The 15 human ARID family proteins are divided into seven subfamilies based on the degree of sequence identity between individual members. No publications are found that investigate the DNA or protein binding properties of Arid5a. Arid5b, the other member of the Arid5 family, is found to have DNA binding properties in two seperate studies (PMIDs:10329386,15640446). |
